Roman Reigns has been incredibly busy in 2018, and most of his time has been taken up by his neverending and aggressive Brock Lesnar pursuit.

The Big Dog wants the Universal Championship, and it looks like not even a clean loss to Bobby Lashley at Extreme Rules is going to keep him out of the title picture.

WWE EXIT?

Although he's going to be battling The Dominator on Monday Night RAW next week, rumours have indicated that The Beast could head to Brooklyn with a triple threat match on his hands.

Lesnar has also been advertised for the RAW after SummerSlam in Brooklyn, with many expecting that he could be leaving the company on that date.

Then again, the same had been said heading into WrestleMania 34, as well as the Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Now, all of the focus has fallen on Lesnar as he edges nearer to a WWE exit and a return to the UFC next year.

Following on from his confrontation with lifelong WWE fan and two-weight UFC champion Daniel Cormier, it's all but confirmed that the two will fight next year, meaning Lesnar could be on his way out of WWE soon.

Now, Reigns has finally reacted to Lesnar's UFC appearance and upcoming fight, claiming he wants Cormier to save a bit of Lesnar for him - but is happy about the crossover when he spoke to NBC Sports Radio's Helen Yee.

REIGNS' RESPONSE

According to Wrestling Inc, he said: "I'm a pretty big fan of Cormier.

"He's really into what we do, and he always seems like a super nice guy. But with our schedule and the amount of events that we run I wasn't able to see it. I did hear about it obviously about Brock coming in and making a spectacle, but that's the showman in him.

"Just save me some, Danny. I think it's good. Any time we can cross over and just create another buzz and that's kinda what Brock is doing.

"We'd love to have him in WWE a lot more. We'd love for him to show up a lot more, but you know it's Brock Lesnar. He's The Beast, he's gonna do what he does. If he shows up I'm ready for him."

Just because Lesnar could be returning to the UFC doesn't mean his WWE career is over for good.

However, sources have made it pretty clear that they want Reigns to defeat Lesnar at least once before his exit.
