Naby Keita has made quite the impression at Liverpool since completing his long-awaited £57m move from RB Leipzig.

He played 45 minutes in the midweek friendly against Blackburn Rovers and had Liverpool fans raving about his range of passing.

Jurgen Klopp was certainly happy with the 23-year-old's performance and also noted how accurate his passes were.

"Good player, huh?" said Klopp afterwards with a smile. "He has an eye for a pass, that is true.

"In pre-season until now, he looks very natural in the position. It's good, but we have to still work on it. It's all good so far."

Keita is expected to be a guaranteed starter for Liverpool in the upcoming season, most likely alongside captain Jordan Henderson and fellow new signing Fabinho.

What the Guinean provides in midfield is an all-action style of play. He's solid defensively but also dangerous going forward with his skill and creativity.

Liverpool players will no doubt find him a dream to play alongside, especially following Alberto Moreno's recent comments.

Moreno has spent the past few weeks training with Keita and he's noticed two things: that he's "just incredible" and "a real pit bull" in midfield.

"With both Naby and Fabinho and now [Xhedan] Shaqiri, we've brought in top, top players," Moreno told Liverpool's website.

"Everybody knows that Fabinho is a great midfielder, and from what I've seen of Naby in training, he's just incredible! As we say in Spain, he's a real pit bull.

"I'm still to see Shaqiri but everyone knows him well for his stats and his Premier League record, and how well he performs.

"I think they are three guys who are going to entertain the fans and give us an awful lot this campaign."

Sounds like Liverpool have signed a beast.

Emre Can was the Reds' pit bull in midfield before he joined Juventus and even though the German has huge potential, it seems Keita is the perfect replacement.
