A huge match will take place this week in the WWE on Monday Night Raw that will have big implications on SummerSlam.

Roman Reigns will face off against Bobby Lashley on the show, and the winner will go on to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WWE's biggest party of the summer.

With The Big Dog being the face of the WWE, and Lashley's recent win over him at Extreme Rules, there's good reason to suggest that either superstar could finish Raw with a Universal title opportunity.

According to Sky Bet, however, there is one clear favourite to the match, and it's Reigns.

As of writing, for the number one contender match, Sky Bet believes The Big Dog is the odds-on favourite to win the match at 4/7, while Lashley has only been given odds of 5/4.

Reigns is widely expected to beat Lashley on Monday and book his spot for SummerSlam, where he is also expected to finally get the better of Lesnar in their rivalry.

There have been rumours as well that the match this Monday could end up finishing as a DQ, resulting in both Lashley and Reigns going on to face Lesnar for the Universal title at SummerSlam.

This arguably would be the perfect way for WWE to book this match as it would allow them to crown a new champion while also still make The Beast look strong for his possible return to WWE after his UFC run is over.

There's also the possibility that WWE could have Braun Strowman cash in his Money in the Bank opportunity too and make him walk out of the biggest party of the summer as the new Universal Champion.

Either way, it looks as though Lesnar will be renewing his rivalry with Reigns which goes all the way back to their feud at WrestleMania 31.
