Understandably, the world has been talking about Brock Lesnar recently.

WWE fans can't wait to see the back of him after he drops the Universal Championship, and that could happen as early as SummerSlam.

UFC RETURN

The expectation is that both Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley could go on to face The Beast for Monday Night RAW's biggest prize - while Braun Strowman is another monstrous factor that needs to be considered.

Then again, the world anticipated The Big Dog would dethrone Lesnar at WrestleMania and the Greatest Royal Rumble, only for Vince McMahon to throw two significant curveballs to leave the fans somewhat surprised.

On the UFC's side, the majority of fans are annoyed that the promotion is having WWE's most prominent asset jump the queue and potentially secure a big-money super fight against lifelong WWE fan and two-weight world champion, Daniel Cormier.

For that to happen, the likelihood is that Lesnar will leave the WWE to return to the Octagon, rather than keeping the Universal Championship on him.

Since his chaotic appearance at UFC 226 to all but confirm a super fight against Cormier, several WWE stars have had their say on the matter.

It was revealed that Seth Rollins is firmly on DC's camp after the latter revealed a text message he received, while Roman Reigns is somebody who is completely on board with the super fight as it's an opportunity to successfully crossover with the UFC.

ANGLE'S THOUGHTS

Now, on-screen RAW general manager Kurt Angle has had his say on Lesnar's situation when he took part in his usual Facebook Q&A session on his official account.

Lesnar does face plenty of criticism for not appearing or competing regularly in WWE, and it's the primary reason why fans want him gone.

It allows other contenders on the red brand to emerge, while the Monday night show finally gets its first active Universal Champion since Kevin Owens.

However, Angle revealed on his Facebook account that he'd prefer Lesnar staying in WWE full-time, though, rather than returning to the UFC.

According to NoDQ, he said: "Could be a great fight if it happens [against Daniel Cormier].

"I’d prefer Brock full time in WWE though."

It's a given that Lesnar is a special attraction.

Regardless of the reaction he now receives, WWE knows that he sells tickets and fans - especially at live events - purchase tickets to see him as it's relatively rare.

At this point, however, a full-time WWE run is out of the equation it seems.

Like WWE fans, it's perhaps wishful thinking on Angle's part.
