Dillian Whyte and Joseph Parker face off in their highly awaited fight at the O2 Arena on Saturday evening. There is a lot on the line for both fighters, and while there isn't an official belt to fight for, the bigger prize on offer is the chance to take on Anthony Joshua in a world title fight. It will give both men a chance for redemption, as the only defeat in their respective careers came against the current world heavyweight champion. However, there are also risks involved, as for the loser, they will slip down the boxing ranks and suddenly be at the boxing crossroads.Tony Bellew is a fighter who has seen the ups and downs of the sport, and while greatly looking forward to the contest, he did offer a word of warning about the consequences of a defeat to either fighter.TalkSPORT reported Bellew as saying: “It’s a brilliant fight, it really is."They didn’t need to fight each other, it’s a dangerous fight."This is a crossroads fight in both of their careers."Although they’ve both been on the big stage against AJ, this is the one that’s gonna define them, because this is the one that can end their journey."Whichever fighter loses this fight, there’s nowhere left to go, there really isn’t."Credit to both guys for taking it.“The similarities in the careers of Whyte and Parker are hard to ignore, with the New Zealander having one more fight to his name (25-24) one more overall win (18-17) and one more knockout success (also 18-17).With both men so evenly matched, it is certainly hard to pick an overall winner.Bellew said both men had their advantages coming into the fight, but after being pushed, he did back his fellow countryman.

“It’s hard to predict, A part of me thinks that Joseph Parker is such an underrated puncher and he was never allowed to show that in the Anthony Joshua fight because Anthony Joshua boxed his head off.

"Another part of me thinks Dillian is too big.

"I would go for Dillian Whyte on points because I just think he’s the bigger, stronger, heavier man, but you just can’t rule out Joseph Parker’s power, he is a good puncher at heavyweight.”

So, going by that analysis, it will just come down to who is able to land the bigger punches and win the big moments of the fight.

Both men will be well aware of their rivals' strengths and weaknesses and it will just come down to who can execute them when the moment arrives.

With so much on the line, it is bound to be a fight to remember.
