Walsh off the mark in Bees win: Match Review

Phil Walsh scored twice as Barnet came from behind to beat Cheltenham 3-1 at Underhill and earn their first win of the season.

Cheltenham got off to a flying start when Frankie Artus thumped home a spectacular left-footed free-kick from 30 yards after just 65 seconds.

That seemed to spark Barnet into life and they went close to levelling four minutes later when Steve Kabba powered through the Robins defence to pull back for Mark Marshall, but his effort was blocked.

But the Bees got their goal after 12 minutes as Marshall combined with Ricky Holmes on the left to provide a far post cross for on-loan Dagenham striker Walsh, who headed home his first Barnet goal from close range.

He should have had another straight after the interval but just failed to connect with Holmes's teasing low cross from the right.

Walsh eventually grabbed his second in the 65th minute when he glanced a fizzing Holmes corner beyond visiting keeper Scott Brown.

And Marshall sealed the win with 10 minutes to go after being played in by Kabba and nipping round Brown to slot home.
