Earlier today, the final press conference was held prior to a blockbuster evening of boxing on Saturday at London’s O2 Arena.Dillian Whyte will face-off against New Zealander Jospeh Parker in the main event with the winner potentially progressing to a title fight next year against either Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder.Derek Chisora will take on Carlos Takam on the undercard, and ‘Del Boy’ was on fine form at the press conference earlier today. No surprise there - he's built his career on being a good talker and an entertaining, yet sometimes controversial, figure.During the press conference, Chisora chose to interrupt Hearn and demanded the promoter to put his money where his mouth is and back his man (Whyte).Hearn and Parker’s promoter David Higgins have had a number of verbal exchanges recently, with both men backing their respective fighters to get the job done. They also had their fair share of run-ins during the build-up to Joshua vs Parker, so it's safe to say they know each other well by now. This prompted the suggestion of a wager, and, after Higgins declared ‘Del Boy’s’ initial demand of £100,00 was too much, the promoters eventually shook hands and agreed on a £20,000 bet.

Chisora will look to put in a strong performance on Saturday to catapult him back into contention within the heavyweight division.

‘Del Boy’ will need to be at his best as Takam showed the world of his capabilities in the ring when he pushed Joshua all the way in their bout last year.

Chisora is coming off a win against Zakaria Azzouzi and will hope to take home the currently vacant WBA international heavyweight title.

This will be Takam’s first slice of action since his fine display last October against AJ, and the Cameroonian will attempt to put in a similar performance which may very well see Chisora hit the floor.
