Every football fan will be keeping a close eye on Juventus in 2018/19.

While the Old Lady are undoubtedly one of the biggest clubs in world football, they have been fired into the stratosphere by the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese superstar signed from Real Madrid in a £105m deal, the highest fee ever paid for a player over 30.

However, given his fitness levels and form, his age barely factors into it.

And the revenue his brand will bring to both Juventus and Serie A as a whole will be ridiculous.

Juve's social media channels have expanded rapidly and people will be flocking from around the world to Turin to see the great man before he retires.

There's euphoria from fans and all of Juve's big names have expressed their joy at getting to play with Ronaldo.

However, manager Max Allegri has remained very level-headed about the whole thing and made a very honest point about the whole ordeal.

"Cristiano has lots of international experience and he will help us a lot, but we have to be careful," the Italian said.

"There is too much euphoria around us and it's not good. This year will be more difficult than others.

"Opponents will be more aggressive because we have won many games and now we have an excellent player like him.

"They will accept it and also, they will have more motivation. With Ronaldo, I spoke about how happy and enthusiastic I am about him coming here, there will be time to speak about football."

He's not wrong either.

Juve's brand value has increased rapidly and with that comes a lot of added responsibility.

Every game they don't win, particularly in Italy, will be scrutinised and the pressure on Ronaldo to deliver straight away will be extremely high.

Even in the Champions League, the pressure will be on Juve to banish their European demons like never before.

Some thrive under pressure, some crack. Over to you, Juventus.
