We are just hours away from one of the biggest heavyweight clashes of the year as Dillian Whyte and Joseph Parker lock horns in London. Both fighters have everything to prove as one looks to gain his first ever world championship shot, and the other is gunning to reclaim the title he lost.Whyte is coming off the back of a brutal knockout of Lucas Browne in March, and will walk into the O2 Arena with an eight-fight winning streak.Parker meanwhile will still be having regrets that he didn't test Anthony Joshua more in their huge clash four months ago in Cardiff, with AJ taking the New Zealander's WBO title off him to add to his WBA, IBF and IBO belts.A win for either man will almost certainly propel them into a number-one contender position, Whyte being second in the WBO rankings behind Joshua's next challenger Alexander Povetkin.Joshua and Whyte both fight under the Matchroom Boxing banner and are led by Eddie Hearn, who could soon be promoting a fight between his two clients should Whyte defeat Parker. The pair have a storied rivalry which dates back to the amateur ranks, with Whyte defeating Joshua in 2009 on points - putting AJ on the canvas in the process.Fast forward to December 2015 though, and the tables had turned. Joshua produced a stunning shot to floor Whyte in round seven of their 'Battle of Britain' to win the British heavyweight title and retain his Commonwealth and International gold.Joshua admitted earlier this year that he no longer hates Whyte, and took to Twitter earlier to send him a message of support before he steps between the ropes.

Touch of class from AJ.

It's not just Joshua who is behind Whyte though, WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders has also tweeted the 'Body Snatcher' a good luck message.

Whatever the result tonight - we're certainly in for an explosive match between two of the best heavyweights in the world.
