If there's one man who can get the whole boxing world talking with his words, it's Tyson Fury.

Journalists are never short of soundbites when the 'Gypsy King' is about, and he entertained the masses by hosting an open workout at Ricky Hatton's gym in Manchester earlier today.

Prancing around the ring in just a t-shirt and his underwear, Fury showed ferocious speed as his trainer Ben Davison put him through his paces as he prepares for the second fight of his comeback against Francesco Pianeta.

And Fury will be hoping that it goes smoother than the debacle that occurred against Sefer Seferi in May, when there was more action in the crowd than there was between the ropes.

August 18 is the date that Fury returns to the ring in Belfast, but he is looking further ahead to a potential clash with WBC world champion Deontay Wilder.

Fury and the 'Bronze Bomber' have history together, with the Brit invading the ring to confront Wilder following his win over Arthur Szpilka in January 2016.

That seems like a lifetime ago now following Fury's two-year ban due to anti-doping issues, but the bombshell was dropped this week that the pair were close to finalising a December fight that will no doubt shake up the division.

As ever though, Fury still had time for a bit of trash-talk when talking to the media during his open day, with Anthony Joshua and his promoter Eddie Hearn coming in for criticism.

Responding to a media personnel's question surrounding comments Hearn had made about Fury, the 'Furious One' responded; "Eddie Hearn is a muppet, and so is his little puppet Joshua, who's afraid and a chicken to fight people."

Savage.

Fury wasn't done there though, as he appeared to take shots at Matchroom's negotiating skills.

"It's 99 per cent done as far as i'm concerned," explained Fury to Sky Sports regarding the potential Wilder face-off.

"There's been no arguments over money, splits or promoters.

"It's how real men do it, we do the business, straight to it, no messing around, no hiding from the big fights.

"If you're good enough you're good enough, and if you're not, forget about it, go home."

To add further fuel to the fire, Fury told IFL TV that Hearn gave Joshua an awful opinion when it came to negotiating the potential unification clash with Wilder.

"Eddie doesn't want to risk him (Joshua), and Eddie has given Joshua the worst bit of advice any man could give anybody - "Don't take $80 million and go to America.'"

You can certainly expect more classic Fury lines as August 18 looms closer, and if the Wilder match-up is confirmed, boxing fans around the globe are not only set for a fantastic fight, but for a sensational war-of-words.
