In six days' time the summer transfer window will close for Premier League clubs, which means things are about to get very hectic.Except if you're Arsenal. Unlike previous years, the Gunners have conducted their business early on and are now in a strong position heading into the new season.Unai Emery has done a fantastic job in bringing in Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi for approximately £70m.It's not as much as what some of Arsenal's rivals have splashed so far, but Emery has successfully reinforced positions that needed attending to on a tight budget. Now it's a case of getting ready for the 2018/19 campaign, with Emery explaining last month that he will only dip back into the market if a "big opportunity" comes along."Normally in my career the big clubs don't close the [door] or the moment to sign a new player," the Spaniard said."We are okay. Maybe we can bring in one if there's a very good possibility for them to help us, but the club has done a great job of signing new players and I am happy.

EMERY STILL INTERESTED

"We signed the players who we needed. We will only sign a player in the next month if he's a big opportunity."

One player who continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal is Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele, who could be available for a season-long loan.

Dembele struggled in his debut season at Barca and with Malcolm now at the club, competition is high and game time isn't guaranteed.

Nothing is concrete as of yet, but Arsenal fans are really starting to believe a move could happen after what happened on Instagram on Thursday night.

Dembele, who is meant to be on holiday following the World Cup, was pictured alongside Arsenal stars Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Guendouzi.

The photo, which was taken in London, was posted on Instagram by Aubameyang's father (see below) and it caused a huge stir amongst Arsenal fans.

ARSENAL FANS REACT

Very interesting. Were anything to come of Arsenal's reported interest in Dembele their attacking line-up for next season would be incredible.

A permanent move is impossible due to the money involved, but there's no reason why the 21-year-old couldn't join on loan.
