It's a summer of change for Barcelona after two key players left the club in high-profile moves.

Firstly, club legend Andres Iniesta called time on his career at the Nou Camp, moving to wind down the rest of it in Japan with Vissel Kobe.

Iniesta will be irreplaceable, of course, but Brazilian midfielder Arthur has long been considered to be as close as you can get and he completed his move from Gremio this summer.

But while those moves were expected, Paulinho's return to China and Guangzhou Evergrande wasn't.

Barca have moved quickly to replace him, however, bringing in Bayern Munich's Arturo Vidal but their midfield rebuild still isn't complete.

For one thing, both Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets are in their 30's now and will need replacing over the next few years.

The Catalonian's have been linked with several players but one stands above all the rest at the top of their wishlist: Paul Pogba.

And according to reports, they believe they can get him.

Mundo Deportivo believes that Barcelona are under the impression that they can convince Manchester United to sell the player they broke the world record for two years ago.

Reason number one for that is down to a relationship with the player's agent, Mino Raiola.

Both Director of Football Eric Abidal and Technical Secretary Ramon Planes know Raiola well, and convincing him to push for a move to Camp Nou is said to be very possible.

But then comes really convincing United with the necessary cash - they'll want a profit on the £90m they spent in 2016, of course.

Barca believe they can pull that off, however, by selling the likes of Yerry Mina, Paco Alcacer, and Rafinha, while Lucas Digne and Aleix Vidal have already left the club for Everton and Sevilla respectively.

All those funds could, therefore, go towards bringing in the club's current dream signing - it would take a lot of persuasion, but Barcelona seem convinced it can happen soon.
