Real Madrid got their first win of pre-season on Saturday evening.

After a 2-1 loss to Manchester United, Los Blancos came from a goal down to beat Juventus 3-1 in Maryland.

Dani Carvajal scored an own goal after just 12 minutes, but Madrid rallied and equalised courtesy of a stunning volley from Gareth Bale.

Marco Asensio was on hand to score a double to seal a well-deserved win.

And Julen Lopetegui said after the match how impressed he was with Asensio in a false nine role, while also downplaying any major transfer.

"I don't talk about players who don't belong to Real Madrid, what I can say is that Marco and the others you mentioned were excellent today," he said.

"Marco was excellent playing a position he doesn't normally play. He did it quite well as did the others and overall I'm extremely happy."

Vinicius Junior was also given another run out, coming on at half-time for Karim Benzema and the Brazilian certainly did his reputation no harm.

In fact, he provided the assist for one of Asensio's goals and wowed viewers with some silky skills. Both clips can be seen below.

And Real Madrid fans were really impressed with the chemistry between him and Asensio.

If they're the club's future, then there is plenty of reason to be excited.

Young striker Borja Mayoral was brought on later in the second-half, but he had little impact on the game compared to Asensio and Vinicius.

Spanish newspaper Marca printed this morning that the pair 'revolutionised the game' when they came on.

With no marquee signings like Eden Hazard or Neymar expected to arrive this summer, we may just see a fair bit of them both this season.

Bale, Benzema and Isco will likely be the first choice front three, but with Asensio, Vinicius and Lucas Vazquez in reserve, Madrid really have some serious strength in depth.
