Understandably, fans have been worried all week following Matt Hardy's social media activity.Although he can be considered as one of the infamous trolls that likes to toy with the fans, rumours of a potential retirement has fans wondering whether or not the Woken Warrior will soon call it a day.

RETIREMENT HINTS

Since returning at WrestleMania 33, Matt has been a little hit and miss on Monday Night RAW.

While Jeff is over on SmackDown LIVE and had won the United States Championship, Matt is having a somewhat underwhelming run alongside Bray Wyatt as The Deleters of Worlds.

It's now thought that they'll be featured in a triple threat tag team match for the RAW tag team titles which will feature The B Team and The Revival.

At one stage, many assumed Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas of The B Team would be 'deleted' and would join Matt's alliance with Wyatt.

Sadly, most of the talk now revolves around Matt potentially calling it a day after a lengthy career in WWE.

It all started by teasing that he and Jeff could be done, before he stepped it up a notch earlier this week where he thanked everyone that had supported him throughout his career.

Over the weekend, however, Matt revealed on his Twitter account that he's suffering from an injury - fans have since connected the dots and believe the injury is what could be potentially forcing him towards retirement.

INJURY

Posting a gif on his Twitter account, he revealed a move he did which has now resulted in his lower back and pelvis beginning to fuse together.

He tweeted: "This manoeuvre was called EVENT OMEGA. And is most likely the reason that I've recently learned that my lower back and pelvis have started fusing together."

Since then, his wife Reby Hardy tweeted out a message in Spanish, which translated to 'everything has its end' in English - and Matt has since retweeted his wife.

The reaction on Twitter speaks volumes, as it would be an unfortunate way to end a legendary career for someone who is a guaranteed Hall of Famer.

Now, all fans can do is wait and see how it all plays out and whether or not Matt has actually been hinting towards retirement - or whether it's a work to keep the fans on the edge of their seats.
