Kurt Angle probably has nothing else left to achieve in the WWE.
He captured multiple world titles during his initial stint with the company where he had plenty of memorable feuds opposite the likes of Brock Lesnar and Eddie Guerrero, to name a few.
After a highly successful stint in TNA, Angle was brought back to play the on-screen general manager of Monday Night RAW.
Deep down, however, fans knew that WWE would eventually pull the trigger on an in-ring return and it took Roman Reigns being struck down by meningitis for him to return.
He teamed up with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose of The Shield, but it's his WrestleMania 34 match which will live long in the memory.
Although he didn't steal the show, he and Ronda Rousey picked up the win over Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag team match.
While an Angle return seems unlikely right now, there's always the chance that WWE allows him to compete again.
Then again, he does deserve to go out on his terms, even if he is getting older now.
However, that doesn't mean he doesn't have the itch to get back in the ring, and he's already revealed the name of three former Impact stars he's hopeful of competing opposite should he receive the opportunity.
The Olympic gold medalist was taking part in his usual Q&A session on his official Facebook account where he was asked about the three names from Impact he'd like to face in WWE.
He revealed that he's hopeful of facing Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode and AJ Styles.
According to Rajah, he posted: "[Samoa] Joe, [Bobby] Roode or AJ [Styles].
"I've always felt that those three were the best of the best. I hope I get another crack at all of them!"
Angle has always remained vocal about his TNA run potentially being better than his work in the WWE, and it's a case that can be proven by the level of competition he did have during his time in TNA.
That's not the only thing he's hopeful of either.
While fans might be split on the thought of Angle working the three matches he highlighted, he also claimed that he feels he has what it takes to become WWE Champion again.
He posted: "I hope so. That's up to the powers that be. I'm healthy right now. Ready to go if I get called on."
While the latter seems even more unlikely, the right story might make Angle vs. Joe, Roode or Styles one that needs to be told.
