Arsenal and Chelsea are both allegedly keeping tabs on Spain star Jesus Navas.

The 24-year-old is being linked with a move to London in January, with both Arsene Wenger and Carlo Ancelotti said to be showing an interest.

Metro reports that both Arsenal and Chelsea have had scouts monitoring the progress of the Sevilla ace over recent weeks.

Navas was a member of Spain’s triumphant World Cup squad and it is understood to be keen on a move to the Premier League.

His international teammate and Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas could play a key role in luring the winger to the Emirates where his close ball control and nifty footwork would see him integrate well into the current set-up.

However, Roman Abramovich’s deep pockets could prove to be vital as Chelsea are more likely to meet Sevilla’s £16 million price tag for Navas.

It is claimed that the Spanish club are considering selling the wing wizard in the New Year rather than losing him on free transfer when his deal expires in 2012.
