The transformation of Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp has been a sight to behold for fans.
Things were really going down the pan in Brendan Rodgers' final full season, with the club finishing sixth and only two points ahead of Southampton in seventh.
Rodgers had one amazing campaign in 2013/14 when Liverpool should have won the Premier League, but his reign is not too fondly remembered.
He was duly sacked early in 2015/16, with Klopp taking over.
Rodgers' worst moment as manager came during Steven Gerrard's final game for the club, with Liverpool losing 6-1 away at Stoke.
And the starting XI from that day just shows how far things have come in just over three years.
GK - SIMON MIGNOLET
The less said about Mignolet's time on Merseyside, the better. Loris Karius even ousted him and now Alisson Becker is ready to take over.
RB - EMRE CAN
Can at right-back? Madness. Klopp now has Trent Alexander-Arnold, Nathaniel Clyne and Rafa Camacho to pick from. Can is now at Juventus.
CB - MAMADOU SAKHO
The curious case of Sikh. Struggled at times for Liverpool, but has been brilliant since moving to Crystal Palace. Would have been interesting to see the Frenchman paired with Virgil van Dijk.
CB - MARTIN SKRTEL
Some defensive partnership. Mistakes just waiting to happen and they did against Stoke. Dejan Lovren in his current form is a real upgrade.
LB - ALBERTO MORENO
Should never have been Liverpool's first-chice left-back and the sight of Andy Robertson must fill fans with joy every time they see the Scotsman.
CM - LUCAS LEIVA
Had lots of success during his Liverpool days, but he just wasn't cut out for the job in the Premier League by 2015. Has impressed at Lazio, though.
CM - JORDAN HENDERSON
The only player from the XI likely to start in Klopp's team today. One of many players to have significant improved since the German's arrival.
CM - JOE ALLEN
Allen or Naby Keita? Pretty easy decision for most fans. The Welshman gave his all for the club, but was never good enough.
AM - ADAM LALLANA
Still at the club, but with very little chance of regular playing time. The signing of Xherdan Shaqiri will limit him even more. Many think it's time for him to move on.
AM - STEVEN GERRARD
His final game with that midfield behind him? Not ideal. Scored on the day, but imagine if his final years were alongside the players Klopp has now...
FWD - PHILIPPE COUTINHO
Coutinho as the focal point of attack, kind of sums it all up really. To make things worse, Rickie Lambert and Jordan Ibe were the two options brought off the bench.
Long live the days of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
