Deontay Wilder versus Tyson Fury is looking like more of a certainty rather than a possibility.

The two heavyweights seem to be on the brink of agreeing terms for a fight reported to be taking place in Las Vegas in November.

While a venue is yet to be confirmed, Sin City looks the most likely.

The bout with Wilder will be the biggest test of Fury’s credentials after making his return to professional boxing earlier this year.

However, there have been muted concerns that Fury might not be ready come November, with many fearing he may end up pulling out of the bout as he has done with his last two heavyweight fights.

Wilder though, is confident that the self-proclaimed Gypsy King will keep to his word and honour his commitment to the fight.

“It’s not a concern at all for me,” Wilder told BoxingScene.com regarding Fury potentially pulling out of their fight.

“Me and Fury have been talking closely. We’ve been talking privately and we’ve been having long discussions about this fight. He’s been sincere. I don’t see him not taking this fight because what does Fury have to lose?

“This is an opportunity of a lifetime for him, too. He’s never had the WBC title. He’s never fought for this. The WBC title is the title, so this is a major opportunity for him as well as I.

“Personally, I don’t think he would pass up this opportunity. I think he’s gonna show up and show out, and he’s gonna give fans what he’s been talking about.”

Fury was forced to pull out of two rescheduled rematches with Wladimir Klitschko after battles with alcoholism and depression before taking a break from the sport, altogether.

However, the 29-year-old looks fitter than ever now and you can be certain that his match-up with Wilder will be a real titanic battle.

Two of the finest heavyweights on the planet going at it has all the makings of the fight of the year, and is sure to attract a massive global audience.

November can’t come soon enough.
