It’s been a mixed transfer window for Real Madrid so far this summer. They lost their star man Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus last month and now face a battle to retain the services of another of their key players, Luka Modric, who is reportedly open to joining Inter Milan. However, they’ve also managed to bring in some real talent over recent weeks including Andriy Lunin, Alvaro Odriozola and Vinicius Junior, who has looked very exciting in pre-season.Their most important acquisition, though, is undoubtedly the signing of Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea. The Belgium international, who previously spent three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid, has agreed a six-year deal with Los Blancos.Courtois is widely considered one of the best goalkeepers in world football and will immediately become Madrid’s new No. 1 ahead of Keylor Navas. The Spanish giants have signed one of the best keepers at the peak of his career and most football fans would agree that he’s an upgrade on the aforementioned Navas.

Barça fans have the same message for Courtois

However, Barcelona fans on Twitter have reacted with glee following the news of Courtois’ move to the Bernabeu.

Why? Well, because Lionel Messi has made light work of scoring goals against Courtois in the past.

Barça supporters are confident that Messi will continue to net goals for fun past the Belgian shot-stopper, who has been nutmegged by the five-time Ballon d’Or winner more times than he’ll care to remember.

And not just nutmegged. Lobbed, chipped - you name it, Messi has probably done it.

They're not worried by Courtois joining Madrid

In fairness to Courtois, Messi has embarrassed most of the world’s best goalkeepers at some point during his career.

But Barça fans are not worried by the prospect of playing against Madrid’s new-look side with Courtois in goal this season.

They’re confident that Messi will continue to humiliate Courtois on an even more regular basis now he’s plying his trade for Julen Lopetegui’s side.

The fierce Clasico rivals are poised to meet on October 27 and then again on March 2.

But will it be Messi or Courtois who ends up having the last laugh? Have your say below.
