There is one star who is getting ready for his return.

That star is Bobby Fish, who is one of the best talents in the world right now.

Over the last few years, WWE and Triple H has taken NXT to being a developmental brand into a third brand that the fans and wrestlers respect. It’s a different show with a throw back feel to them.

Since NXT was introduced and placed at Full Sail University, the brand has taken off with the WWE Universe. Triple H has not only brought in athletes and turned them into Superstars, but he has also reached out to top indy stars and given them the stage to shine in the spotlight.

Such wrestlers as Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have all risen through the ranks and onto the main roster.

WWE did this again as they signed the former Ring of Honor talent. Fish was an NXT Tag Team Champion alongside Kyle O’Reilly before he got hurt. If you recall, back in March, Fish suffered a torn ACL and torn MCL in his left knee at an NXT live event and later underwent surgery.

At the time, it was announced by the sports entertainment company that he would be out of action for six months.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Bobby Fish’s return after knee surgery is looking at this point like November or December.

WWE has since paired O'Reilly with Roderick Strong on television with Fish appearing with them from time to time.

WWE has announced a match that will go down at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV, which is Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly defending the NXT Tag Team Titles against Tyler Bate and Trent Seve.

There is a lot of history between these two teams as if you recall, Moustache Mountain beat Strong & O’Reilly to win the NXT Tag Team Titles at day 2 of the WWE NXT UK Title Tournament at Royal Albert Hall in London, England that aired on WWE’s streaming service back on June 26th.

This marked a big change of the guard at the time as The Undisputed Era held the titles up to this point for over 200 days as they won the straps from Sanity (Alexander Wolfe and Eric Young) back in November of 2017 during an episode of NXT on the WWE Network.

However, Undisputed Era defeated Mustache Mountain to win the NXT Tag Team Titles on the July 11th episode of NXT.
