We're now just nine days away from what is the second biggest weekend in WWE's annual calendar.
On August 19, SummerSlam goes live from Brooklyn and one night before, NXT TakeOver airs from the same venue.
This year, they could be some of the most memorable shows of recent times - especially for WWE's developmental brand.
BUILDING THE BEST SHOW
TakeOver: Brooklyn IV returns to the Barclays Center once again - and their pay-per-view could easily overshadow the main roster show the following night.
That's because producer Triple H has built a card which includes five matches and every single one of them could steal the show.
However, there will be one massive name missing from TakeOver - former NXT Champion Aleister Black.
The Dutchman was scheduled to challenge Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano in a triple threat match, attempting to win back the belt he lost to Blackheart a few weeks ago.
However, Black suffered an injury at a house show earlier this month - and after undergoing surgery, he won't be back in time for the big event.
Despite the bad news, it seems that WWE are making the best of a bad situation and they've created a very exciting storyline to keep him off of TakeOver.
After Wednesday night's NXT show went off the air, Black was shown lying unconscious in the parking lot - as a number of potential suspects made their exit.
Here's the video that sparked the storyline - and it shows a number of potential attackers in Gargano, The Undisputed Era and Heavy Machinery.
It's a great angle - one that's similar to a 'whodunit' kind of story - and it should keep fans on the edge of their seats all summer long.
But WWE aren't just stopping there. In fact, they're building up the storyline even further, by releasing some previously unseen footage of the aftermath of the attack.
In the video below, a number of new suspects come to light, opening up the suggestion that it could have been literally anyone who attacked Black.
Brilliant. With the likes of EC3, Ciampa, Velveteen Dream, The Forgotten Sons and Shayna Baszler joining the list of suspects, expect this storyline to explode in the following weeks.
Black may have been forced out of TakeOver with an injury that's come at a terrible time, but it's great to see that NXT are still fully invested in him.
