Dominic Breazeale has stoked the fire on his already bitter rivalry with Deontay Wilder, posting a personal video message to him via Instagram.

Breazeale is a mandatory challenger for Wilder’s WBC heavyweight championship, and the two could square-off in 2019 for the belt.

The two fighters already have history, coming to blows in a hotel lobby in 2017 after both featuring on the same show earlier in the night.

Breazeale, 32, called Wilder out earlier in the week when asked about the hotel brawl, and told the American he wanted to get in the ring and settle it there.

Speaking to Boxingnewsonline.net about the brawl in February 2017, Breazeale said: “There was an altercation in Alabama, yes. I was in the hotel lobby minding my own business, I was with my wife and kids, and Wilder came in and, as he does, tried to take over the place.

“He tried to confront me – he wanted to fight right there and then – and he pretty much saw to it that things escalated and got out of hand. His people started pushing and shoving, not only me but also my wife and kids, and punches were thrown.

“I want so much to make him pay for the mental trauma he caused my family and friends. As I say, I so much want a piece of him in the ring."

Wilder, 32, responded with a horrific statement, and even stated that he was going to cripple Breazeale in front of his child.

“We already know what Dominic Breazeale is doing,” said Wilder. “He’s trying to talk me into fighting him, which is not working.

“My mind is already made up on the Breazeale fight, and, when it do happen, imma make sure he brings his son on the stage to look the man in the eye that’s gonna cripple his daddy,” continued the WBC champion in a scathing verbal assault.

This inevitably did not go down well with Breazeale himself, and nor did it go down well with Deontay Wilder’s potential next opponent Tyson Fury.

Almost immediately after the statement from Wilder, Fury responded with a statement of his own.

“Saying stuff like that is out of order and sad, to involve a child,” said the Gypsy King. “I pray for everyone I fight to do their best and get home safely, there is too much BS like this in boxing.”

Breazeale has now responded to Wilder via Instagram, getting personal with his response to the 32-year-old, saying ‘you ain’t sh*t’.

“Wider, you ain’t sh*t. For one man to talk about another man’s son and to talk about crippling a man in the ring, you ain’t nothing,” ranted Breazeale.

“You got the heavyweight championship, that’s about it. Outside of that: Two wives, three girlfriends, three kids you know about, a disabled child, kinds of the side, your life is all f***ed up.

“You want to come at me with some bullsh*t. Be a man, step up, get the paperwork done, send the contract over. You and I, we can square this off in the ring and you’ll lose the only thing you’ve ever had good in your life.

“My revenge is coming.”

This is another battle that just seems to be hotting up for Deontay Wilder, who has a lot on his plate right now, with a potential battle with lineal heavyweight champion Fury, as well as never-ending negotiations with Anthony Joshua.

Now adding a bitter war of words with mandatory challenger Breazeale to his list, it's hard to see where Wilder will find time to fit all these fights into his schedule.
