There's a new buzz of hope and optimism around the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason thanks to the arrival of LeBron James.

LeBron signed a four-year, $153 million deal with the Lakers after leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer, turning them into a contender in the Western Conference overnight.

Add in the experienced veterans which they have signed to what is a very promising young core of players, Lakers fans are overall very excited for the 2018-19 NBA season ahead.

Fans already received a glimpse of what life will be like soon with LeBron in a Lakers jersey when the superstar posted photos of himself in a Lakers uniform on his Instagram account earlier this week.

Now, they've received a first-look as to how James will play alongside his new Lakers teammates, as the team recently published videos and pictures of the King taking part in his first training session with his new team.

It's fair to say that Lakers fans went crazy over the sight of seeing LeBron training.

Lakers fans will be hoping that seeing LeBron in the purple and gold becomes a sight to treasure as he attempts to return the franchise to their former heights. However, it will take some time to get used to.

LeBron will play on the court for the Lakers for the first time in the regular season on October 18 against the Portland Trail Blazers. His first home game as a Laker though won't be until October 20 against the Houston Rockets.

James will return home to battle against his former team in the Cavaliers for the first time on November 21.
