Maurizio Sarri's reign at Chelsea got underway with a 3-0 victory away to Huddersfield. The opening goal came from the most unlikely of sources, N'Golo Kante finishing with a deft volley after good work down the wing from Willian.New signing Jorginho then doubled their lead with a cheekily-taken penalty, won by Marcos Alonso, before Pedro rounded things off with 10 minutes to go.It seems Sarri-ball has got off to a fine start and many more Chelsea fans will be able to see it in action next weekend when they play their first home game against Arsenal. And when Unai Emery's men head down the tunnel, they might be surprised to see some unusual amendments. In an apparent bid to motivate the squad, Chelsea have taken to printing tweets from random supporters praising players onto the walls."Morata's goal really was a thing of beauty," wrote @ChelseaDyl.

"Azpilicueta is phenomenal," reads another.

Why? Because modern football is awful

It's hardly going to have opponents quaking in their boots, is it? Fans found it a mixture of hilarious and just a bit strange.

Liverpool's 'This is Anfield' sign has become iconic, with players and managers touching it for good luck before heading out onto the hallowed turf.

One imagines this probably isn't going to have the same effect, but you never know.

Of course, what really matters is what happens on the pitch and there is a new sense of optimism under Sarri, even if the Community Shield defeat to Manchester City brought more disappointment.

Jorginho already looks like a very shrewd signing and while it was a relatively quiet summer in west London, Kepa Arrizabalaga replaced Thibaut Courtois, becoming the world's most expensive goalkeeper in the process.

A clean sheet in the stopper's first game will have done his confidence the world of good.

Arsenal ought to prove a much tougher test, however, and that will be much more revealing of how Chelsea's new era is shaping up.
