Will there ever be a day where Tyson Fury isn't involved in some sort of controversy? Fury took to Twitter yesterday to ask his 900,000 followers whether he thought a fight between himself and Deontay Wilder would be possible.Clearly, boxing fans didn't agree. Since his return to professional boxing earlier this year, it has been an aim of the Gypsy King's to propel himself back to the top of the heavyweight division. Fury first fought Sefer Seferi as the Manchester-born boxer bullied his competitor as the Albanian fighter, who was considerably smaller than Fury, was forced to retire in the fourth round.Critics argued that Fury needed to fight a larger fighter if his return to boxing wants to be taken seriously. And Fury found exactly that for his next fight. Step forward Francesco Pianeta.A former WBO European champion, this is the Gypsy King's next opponent who he will take on next weekend. However, Fury is already looking way ahead of this encounter as he targets WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. However, judging by the reaction from his recent tweet, it leads up to believe that boxing fans aren't too confident of a fight occurring between the pair.

His tweet received hundreds of responses, mainly negative, and countless quoted tweets mocking the Gypsy King about the possibility of fighting the Bronze Bomber.

But the real question is, will Wilder welcome the opportunity to fight the former world champion?

It comes as no surprise that Wilder is eyeing up the man of the moment Anthony Joshua for his next fight. However, there could be a small chance that these two could meet in the ring in the future.

With Wilder seemingly waiting forever and a day for Joshua to give the all clear, a fight against Fury could be an excellent match-up for the pair.

Although boxing fans want to see Wilder take on Joshua, a meeting between Fury and Wilder could be a great consolation prize.
