We’ve seen all 20 Premier League clubs play during this opening weekend and Liverpool sit top of the league.

That counts for very little but Jurgen Klopp will be very happy with his side’s 4-0 victory against West Ham at Anfield.

Goals from Mohamed Salah, Daniel Sturridge and a brace from Sadio Mane got Liverpool off to flyer in the Premier League.

But it was the performance of debutant Naby Keita that would have excited fans the most.

The Reds waited 12 months for Keita to arrive from RB Leipzig and it looks as though it was worth the wait.

The midfielder eventually completed his £48 million move this summer and many fans got their first glimpse of the Guinean on Sunday afternoon.

And he impressed.

His energy with and without the ball and his incredible dribbling ability were a joy to watch.

And that was evident during Liverpool’s first goal.

Keita ran through midfield with the ball and played a perfect pass to Andy Robertson. The Scot slid the ball across to Salah, who tapped home.

And that was just one moment of Keita’s superb performance.

Check out the rest of his individual highlights:

Liverpool fans were certainly delighted to see how quickly Keita settled into this side.

Supporters were impressed and Klopp also seemed pretty pleased with how the 23-year-old performed.

“A good performance, of course,” Klopp said.

“Naby is in because he is a really good footballer and from the beginning he has settled really quick.

“Similar style of play, similar positions as he had at Leipzig.

“I’m pleased, absolutely, but that's what we expect.”
