NBA rookies always have big dreams when they're drafted into the league, and Deandre Ayton is no different.Ayton was drafted with the first overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns earlier this year, and they'll be hoping he can help turn the franchise around.Last season, the Suns finished at the bottom of the Western Conference, so they'll be keeping their fingers crossed that their new rookie can cause havoc inside the paint and challenge the defense of big men around the league.Despite the start of the 2018-19 NBA seasons till being a couple of months away, it seems Ayton is already looking forward to an encounter with a certain big man on the court in the form of Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid. With Panini America, the Suns rookie recently did a hilarious drawing on a sketch card of himself posterizing the Sixers center with a dunk.

Embiid responds

Unsurprisingly, the drawing was seen by Embiid himself on social media who reacted to it in his own way.

He said in a simple tweet: "I love when KIDS dream BIG #ThisIsWhyWePlay #WhereAmazingHappens."

Despite the fact they're yet to matchup on the court, it seems a rivalry has been born. This isn't the first time which Ayton and Embiid have been compared either.

Many people compared Ayton to Embiid during the Suns rookie's drafting process, a comparison which the Sixers star doesn't like at all.

The center said on Twitter at the time: "Don’t compare Ayton to me either... I play DEFENSE."

Ayton, however, isn't concerned about his defensive skills, as he believes his size will help him a lot.

He said, via NBA.com: “Most definitely. I haven’t had the exposure in college to really guard big men, or the big men that I guard haven’t really touched the ball or really do what they were supposed to do.

“I know the game is changing a lot, but I just want to stick to the old-school big man. Being down low and really trying to be dominant.”

The Suns and Sixers will play against each other twice during the 2018-19 season, once on November 19, and again on January 2.
