WWE's go-home Monday Night Raw show before SummerSlam this weekend served its purpose as it was a decent show, and it's ending certainly sent fans home happy.The show's main event included Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler signing their contract for their Intercontinental Championship match for WWE's biggest party of the summer this Sunday.Throughout their feud, Drew McIntyre had always been in the corner of Ziggler, making sure that The Showoff always came out on top during their matches in the ring.However, The Kingslayer brought along some company with him to the contract signing to even up the numbers, and they will also be in his corner at SummerSlam this Sunday.Dean Ambrose then made his much-anticipated return Raw, joining Rollins in clearing the ring and standing tall to close out the show to the delight of fans.

New look

The Lunatic Fringe made his return to the WWE for the first time since December 2017, and with a brand new look as well which caught fans' eyes, as his long hair was cut short and he was more jacked than he has ever been before.

He certainly looked a lot more menacing in the ring than what he has previously shown as well.

WWE fans on Twitter couldn't contain their excitement for the return of Ambrose on Raw.

Ambrose's future

As previously mentioned, Ambrose will now be in Rollins' corner for his Intercontinental Championship match at SummerSlam against Ziggler this Sunday, and he'll most likely collide with McIntyre if he tries to get involved in the match.

There has been much speculation as to how WWE will use The Lunatic Fringe following the biggest party of the summer this weekend.

One of the biggest rumours regarding his future booking is that he will once again have a one-on-one feud with Rollins, expect this time Ambrose will be a heel and Rollins will be a face. Previously, it was the other way around.

We will have to wait until after SummerSlam to see if this feud happens, but nevertheless, many WWE fans are happy to see Ambrose back on Raw and back in a WWE ring after over eight months away.
