Not a day goes by in the wrestling world where someone isn't asking for Roman Reigns to turn heel.

We had the same thing with John Cena for around a decade and, unfortunately, that day never came.

Naturally, fans are wondering if the same applies for Reigns. The Big Dog was a originally a heel in The Shield until the Hounds of Justice just got too popular with the WWE Universe.

Since turning into a solo star, he has played it down the middle as a babyface and in conjunction with some awful WWE writing in his promos, there has certainly been some growing pains.

The 33-year-old has found his stride as the Samoan Badass, but he has been stuck in a feud with the barely-present Brock Lesnar over the Universal Title for nearly the whole of 2018 now.

Reigns has yet to beat the Beast Incarnate, so how is he finally going to do that when they meet at SummerSlam?

It seems as though some leaked information around live events following SummerSlam suggests that the heel turn could be coming for the Big Dog.

Reigns is slated to go up against Money in the Bank winner Braun Strowman and Dave Meltzer believes that means one of them will be turning heel imminently.

We asked Reigns about going heel during the WWE's tour of Europe in May and he didn't see the point.

"It's a weird question because aren't I already a heel? If I garner that reaction, what's the point? It's already happening. If I'm already being booed, then why try to get booed?

"I have a great opportunity - because I'm a gray-area guy -- to do a little bit of everything. I'm in a good place to do whatever I want and just play with this character and not just be a heel or a face - I feel my character can be so much more than that."

In truth, why would Strowman turn heel? If he lost the briefcase he might go on a rampage, but the fans seem to love that, so turning him would be tough.

As for Roman, aligning with Heyman to cheat to beat Lesnar and slamming the fans on Monday Night Raw would be absolute money.

Are we going to see some major developments at SummerSlam on Sunday? Let us know in the comments below.
