Dean Ambrose surprised many WWE fans earlier this week when he made his return to Monday Night Raw after several months away due to an injury.

Ambrose had been out since December 2017, so fans were glad to see him back, and he returned with a new look as well with shorter and a more muscular frame.

The Lunatic Fringe will now be in Seth Rollins' corner for his Intercontinental Championship match this Sunday against Dolph Ziggler, and he'll most likely collide with Drew McIntyre, who will be in Ziggler's corner, if he tries to get involved in the match.

Now Ambrose is back in the WWE after months away, fans can now finally speculate properly who they think he will feud with in his first feud back in the squared circle.

Here are five feuds WWE could book for Dean Ambrose after SummerSlam this weekend.

Seth Rollins

Many fans have been talking about a possible feud between Ambrose and Rollins for many months, and it could very well begin this Sunday at SummerSlam.

Ambrose will be in Rollins' corner for his IC title match this weekend, but that doesn't mean he has to support him. The Lunatic Fringe could turn heel on his former Shield brother by helping Ziggler retain the title.

WWE could also kick this feud off by having Ambrose help Rollins win the title on the night, only for him to turn on him during the celebrations of the win after the match.

This feud seems the most likely to happen. It's just a case of waiting until SummerSlam this weekend to see if it happens.

Roman Reigns

If not Rollins, Ambrose could always opt to feud against another former Shield brother in the form of Roman Reigns.

Reigns will be at SummerSlam this weekend, as he will be competing against Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship in what will likely be the main event of the show.

Lesnar is expected to go back to UFC after this match, and therefore won't be demanding a rematch, leaving the door for a challenger for The Big Dog and his new title.

In the same manner as the Rollins feud above, The Lunatic Fringe could come down to the ring to celebrate Reigns' title win, only to turn heel and attack him moments later, kicking off their feud.

Drew McIntyre

As previously mentioned, Ambrose will be in Rollins' corner for his Intercontinental Championship match this weekend against Ziggler, who will have McIntyre in his corner.

If WWE wants to keep The Lunatic Fringe as a face for now, McIntyre would be a good feud for him, as The Chosen One has been one of the rising heels on the main roster since WrestleMania 34.

It wouldn't take much to get this feud going either, as both of them will be at SummerSlam this weekend, and could easily be too busy focused on each other, rather than helping out their teammates in the ring.

This would be a good way as well to keep both Ambrose and McIntyre occupied as well for a bit before they go on to feud against Rollins and Ziggler respectively later on this year.

Baron Corbin

Another good feud for Ambrose on Raw if WWE is to save his heel turn for a later date would be against Constable Baron Corbin.

The Lunatic Fringe will be looking to get himself back into a championship picture on Raw following his return to the ring, but Corbin may be a roadblock in his way.

Being an authority figure on Raw, the Constable could easily send Ambrose to the back of the line and demand that he goes through him before he gets any shots at any titles.

This would be a nice easy way for WWE to get a win and some momentum behind Ambrose before he moves onto bigger things later on this year.

Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman could be a great feud Ambrose after SummerSlam as well as the two have never had a feud against each other in the WWE before.

The two have met in the ring before, but never in a full-blown feud, and that's a feud full of potential.

The Monster Among Men's brute power combined with The Lunatic Fringe's craziness would surely make some great in-ring entertainment and some incredible matches and segments.

Plus, this feud could have a lot more riding on it if Strowman is still holding onto the Money in the Bank contract by then. If he's Universal Champion too, it could be a great first feud for both of them in new stages of their careers following Ambrose's new look.
