There was no shortage of entertainment in this year's UEFA Super Cup.A Madrid derby hosted under the lights in Estonia, the game went all the way to extra-time before Atletico finally gained the advantage and ran away 4-2 victors.Diego Costa opened the scoring in the first minute, only for Real Madrid to turn the tie on its head with goals from Karim Benzema and a penalty virtue of Sergio Ramos.However, with just 11 minutes left on the clock, Costa struck once again and Los Blancos never recovered their composure afterwards.Saul delivered the killer blow in 98th minute with a superb left-footed volley, before Koke put the game to bed with a smart finish of his own.
European defeat for Real Madrid
Of course, fans can only take so much from the UEFA Super Cup, but it was brilliant entertainment nonetheless and put a stop to Real Madrid's dominance in European competitions.
It was the club's first competitive game since victory in the Champions League back in May, when Zinedine Zidane stalked the technical area.
That night in Kiev is still fresh in the memory of football fans with the manner of Liverpool's defeat taking place under eventful circumstances.
Fan attracts attention in Real Madrid end
Jurgen Klopp and Sergio Ramos are still arguing over the injury to Mohamed Salah and Gareth Bale scored one of the greatest goals in Champions League history.
However, the nightmarish performance of goalkeeper Loris Karius will always be the overarching memory from the game and it continues to be discussed now.
That was very clearly the case on Wednesday night at the UEFA Super Cup when fans on Twitter noticed a particular supporter in the Real Madrid end.
He attracted plenty of attention on Twitter for the fact he was sporting a Karius jersey and his decision to wear the number '13' on the back suggests it's very unlikely he was an Estonian Liverpool fan.

Real fans do have a lot to thank Karius for when it comes to that night in Kiev and - although the fan's motives remain to be seen - it does appear a cold dig at the Liverpool 'keeper.
Karius has received online abuse and criticism ever since his Champions League performance and mistakes in pre-season have amplified the backlash.
He was at fault in clashes with both Tranmere Rovers and Borussia Dortmund during their preparations in the summer.
As a result, Liverpool have forked out a world-record fee to try and solve their goalkeeping dilemma with the capture of Alisson Becker from AS Roma.
It looks unlikely now that Karius will receive much game-time this season and the cup competitions will provide the majority of his appearances.
Some time away from the limelight could be exactly what he needs, though, and hopefully the abuse will come to a halt.
