Ronda Rousey may stay in the WWE for just a bit longer.

The former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion recently spoke with ESPN to promote the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

This show takes place this Sunday (August 19, 2018) in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center on the WWE Network where she is slated to challenge Alexa Bliss for the WWE Raw Women’s Title.

Rousey made her professional wrestling in-ring debut when teaming up with Kurt Angle to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 34 in April.

In this match, there was a famous scene in which Rousey made McMahon tap out to her armbar finisher.

If you recall, the way that we to this point was when Rousey beat Nia Jax by DQ in a WWE RAW Women’s Championship match at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event once Alexa Bliss attacked Rousey.

After the match, Bliss cashed in her MITB contract to win the title from Jax. WWE has announced that Bliss will make her next title defense against Jax at the Extreme Rules PPV event, which saw Bliss retain.

In this interview, the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion dropped a hint that she might be staying longer than originally expected in the WWE. She also talked about her move set.

"I love this way more than I ever thought I would," Rousey told ESPN. We had a set timeline set, and now we aren't so sure about it because I love it so much," she said. "I guess that's the best thing that could've happened, that I would love it so much it would be so hard to stop. I can see why people have a hard time leaving this industry because it's such joy to be a part of every day."

"My [wrestling] move set is kind of still evolving and taking shape, so I'd be really interested in to see what they actually come up with [in 2K19]," Rousey said. "There's a bunch of stuff I haven't even been able to show yet, that I've been keeping in my back pocket."

"It's not like I'm juggling on a unicycle, on a balance beam like over a bed of knives, you know what I mean?" Rousey said. "I'm juggling on a unicycle that's in a bouncy house. If I fall off, I go boing right back up to the unicycle. It's fine. I don't die. I fall off."
