A new-look Dean Ambrose made his return to the WWE on Monday Night Raw this week after several months away from the ring due to injury.

After being out since December, The Lunatic Fringe made his return on Monday to reveal that he would be in Seth Rollins' corner for his Intercontinental title match this weekend at SummerSlam vs Dolph Ziggler, who will have Drew McIntyre in his corner.

Not much has been said about Ambrose's booking future beyond WWE's biggest party of the summer this Sunday, but there has been plenty of speculation.

Reports have stated that Ambrose could turn heel on Rollins at SummerSlam and cost his former Shield-brother a chance to regain the Intercontinental title, kicking off a feud between them once more.

However, if reports by Wrestling Inc are to be believed about WWE's plan for Hell in a Cell on September 16, The Lunatic Fringe might not be turning on The Kingslayer just yet.

According to local advertising for the AT&T Center, the venue which will host Hell in a Cell, Ambrose and Rollins are set to team up in a tag team match against Ziggler and McIntyre at the event.

What this could indicate is that The Lunatic Fringe will not be turning on The Kingslayer this weekend at SummerSlam since they will be teaming up in a match just a few short weeks later.

Previous advertised matches for Hell In a Cell also include Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens (likely for the Universal title), Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton (likely for the United States title) and AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe for the WWE title.

Not having Ambrose turn heel on Rollins this weekend at SummerSlam might surprise a few WWE fans, but time is on WWE's side. They can take this feud slowly and build up to the turn. There is no rush.

The Lunatic Fringe could face the likes of McIntyre or Baron Corbin before coming back to kick off a feud with The Kingslayer, and by this point, WWE could be starting their build towards WrestleMania 35.

Having Ambrose's and Rollins' feud culminate at WrestleMania would be quite the sight. Therefore, WWE doesn't need to rush into it and execute Ambrose's heel turn this weekend at SummerSlam.
