Manchester City’s new ‘All or Nothing’ documentary really has set a lot of tongues wagging this week.

The documentary has provided unprecedented behind the scenes access to City’s remarkable title run last season, showing the side of football that fans almost never get to see.

From Guardiola’s team talks, to tactical planning sessions, to rousing rallying cries from the players, every inch of City’s record-breaking triumph was captured.

While the brilliant documentary has received heaps of acclaim following it’s first airing, there are some folks who are less than impressed with the film.

You wouldn’t get any prizes for guessing that a certain Jose Mourinho had a few complaints about the documentary after it very intentionally mocked him for being a defensive coach.

During the segment that covered the first Manchester derby of the season, the narration was less than subtle when aiming a little dig at Mourinho.

“It is Guardiola versus Mourinho once more; possession versus defence; attacking football versus ‘park-the-bus’“, said the narrator.

Mourinho responds

It was only a matter of time before the Portuguese responded and it was as sour as you would expect.

Mourinho told Sky Sports: “You can have a fantastic movie while respecting others.

“You don’t need to be disrespectful to have a fantastic movie. You can be a rich club and buy the best players in the world but you cannot buy class and they showed that clearly, that was really obvious.”

Crikey.

Jose not a fan then.

You can hardly blame him for airing his opinion, but City fans might not take too kindly to what he has had to say.

Mourinho has come in for a lot of criticism after what was a rather miserable pre-season with many fans fearing the Red Devils have fallen further behind City during the summer.

And it seems that All or Nothing has furthered darkened his storm clouds.

The first Manchester derby of the season will take place at the Etihad Stadium in November and there are sure to be fireworks.

Whether Jose has a team capable of stopping Pep Guardiola’s silky side, remains to be seen.
