Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus debut was eagerly anticipated by every football fan. However, it wasn't the easiest of competitive bows for the €100m summer arrival from Real Madrid, with the Bianconeri just about winning 3-2 away at Chievo Verona.Juventus took the lead early through Sami Khedira, but Mariusz Stepinski and former Sunderland man Emmanuelle Giaccherini scored for the hosts.Leonardo Bonucci equalised late in the second half and Fernando Bernadeschi was on hand to score a dramatic late winner. It was probably not the start Max Allegri would have envisioned in Serie A, particularly after such a good summer.Ronaldo, Joao Cancelo, Bonucci and Emre Can were all brought in to try and help the Bianconeri win the Champions League.Keeping hold of the Scudetto might not be as easy as everyone thought.Ronaldo lined up in a front four alongside Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa and Juan Cuadrado, with the Portuguese the focal point of attack. And despite the fact he had some chances throughout the game, football fans are concerned that he will not thrive in Italy being played as a central striker.Maybe Karim Benzema really was underrated at Real Madrid...

FOOTBALL FANS REACT TO RONALDO'S DEBUT

Allegri did react during the game by bringing on Mario Mandzukic to support Ronaldo and it seemed to work.

It is a conundrum which the manager will have to fix as soon as possible and it could have a serious impact on Dybala's game time in 2018/19.

The Argentine was the perfect foil for a natural number nine in Gonzalo Higuain, but it could be a different story in the Ronaldo era.

Allergi is unlikely to ditch his two favoured wide men in Costa and Cuadrado, so Dybala may have to be the man that sits out more often than not.

Juventus' next game is at home against Lazio and it will be interesting to see what team the manager selects for that fixture.
