WWE SummerSlam is going to have to pull out all the stops in order to top the incredible matches that were put on last night at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV at the Barclays Center. On the night, we saw several Match of the Year candidates, two title changes, and one incredible main event to leave the fans anticipating for SummerSlam to see how they can top it.One of the title changes on the night took place during the Ricochet vs Adam Cole match for the NXT North American Championship.Ricochet would win his first championship under the WWE banner at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV by hitting his trademark 630 splash to win the match. However, during the match itself, the new NXT North American Champion was on the receiving end of arguably one of the best superkicks ever seen inside the squared circle.Ricochet went for a springboard only to be on the receiving end of a backstabber by Cole and a quality near-fall in what would turn out to be one of the best sequences on the night. The crowd inside the Barclays Center absolutely loved it and they gave it a huge cheer in amazement.

Fans on Twitter went crazy over the sequence as well.

Nevertheless, Ricochet was able to turn things around after this moment and win his first championship in WWE.

Triple H made sure to grab a photo with the new NXT North American Champion after his match and congratulate him on Twitter.

This counter is up there with some of the best counters in WWE history, such as Randy Orton's RKO counter to Seth Rollins' curb stomp at WrestleMania 31.

There has to be a rematch between Ricochet and Adam Cole for the NXT North American Championship very soon, and we can't wait to see it happen.

It's going to be incredibly tough for Ricochet and Adam Cole to top this match, but every NXT fan will have the faith in both superstars to do exactly that.
