Velveteen Dream, who turns 23 today, caught all WWE fans' attention last night with his choice of wrestling tights at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV.

For his match against EC3 at the event, Dream came down to the ring in the Barclays Center wearing purple and white tights with writing on them.

Across his rear, it said 'Call Me Up, Vince' which WWE fans immediately jumped on in the belief that he was sending out a message to Vince McMahon.

After NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV, however, Triple H had a conference call with the media and revealed the true meaning behind the tights.

Or at least the meaning which he has been told by Dream.

The Game stated that the tights weren't directed at Vince McMahon. Instead, they were for his friend who had lost his phone, and is also called Vince.

However, Triple H also made it clear that if Dream’s message for Mr. McMahon himself, then he could receive one of two calls very soon. One call could be good news for him, while the other might not be.

Certainly, if Dream was to be called up by Vince to the main roster tomorrow, he would definitely succeed as he's one of the most promising talents in NXT today.

Dream won his match against EC3 last night after delivering a Death Valley Driver on the ring apron on the former TNA world champion to set up an elbow drop to win the clash.

He's shown a lot of promise over the past couple of months, especially during his feud with Ricochet, so we might not have to wait much longer to see him on the WWE main roster.

It's unclear as to who Dream will be feuding with next in NXT, but fans will definitely be keeping a close eye on him to see if he wants to send any other messages to a certain Vince on his ring gear.
