Watford continued their perfect start to the season with a 3-1 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor.Andre Gray opened the scoring against his former club within three minutes, only to see his strike cancelled out by James Tarkowski shortly afterwards. It took goals from Troy Deeney and Will Hughes to hand the visitors the three points.Incredibly, the Hornets had not scored away from home since Javi Gracia took charge, their last goal on the road coming all the way back in January. In light of that stat, they made it look surprisingly easy.Burnley, of course, were playing their sixth games in 25 days as they struggle to balance the burden of the Europa League with their Premier League campaign.Having at least kept a clean sheet last weekend in the stalemate with Southampton, the Clarets could not replicate it this time out.

Magic from Doucouré

And while it was Deeney who put in a man-of-the-match performance, Abdoulaye Doucouré also sliced through their defence with ease, picking out an absolutely sublime pass to set up the Englishman's goal three minutes into the second half.

Doucouré was linked with the likes of Everton and Arsenal in the summer transfer window but in the wake of Richarlison's departure to the former, Watford were determined to keep hold of him.

It's easy to see why. The 25-year-old is rated at around the £40million mark and though that may have deterred a few suitors, any midfielder worth his salt would have been delighted with that through ball.

The club's away form was such a concern last term that Gracia will no doubt be delighted to have got off the mark at the first time of asking in the 2018/19 campaign.

"Today we scored three and we have done better than last season," Gracia said, per the BBC.

"But I don't like to look back at the statistics of last season; I prefer to enjoy the moment. We did a good job and I'm very happy for the players.

"It is important the amount of goals but the quality as well. Today the strikers Troy Deeney and Andre Gray scored which is very important for them and the team. Will Hughes scored an outstanding goal. I am happy for all of them."
