Dillian Whyte has had a pretty phenomenal 2018 so far, registering two impressive wins against Lucas Browne in March and Joseph Parker in July.He successfully defended his WBC [Silver] belt on both outings and added the vacant WBO International heavyweight title after the victory over his Kiwi counterpart last month.Whyte is ranked number one at present with the WBC, just behind Deontay Wilder, who holds the title, although, Dominic Breazeale remains the mandatory contender. The Whyte camp is confident the scenario will change once the new edition of the rankings are revealed. The Brit, however, may have to endure the waiting game for a bit longer before he can go up against Wilder for a shot at the WBC title, with the American ace set to contest Tyson Fury in Las Vegas later in the year.Fury fought the second bout since his comeback this summer, this time around against Francesco Pianeta on Saturday and Whyte kept his followers entertained by providing an alternative perspective on the fight via social media. The 30-year-old branded the action inside the ring ‘an absolute nonsense’ while calling Wilder the ‘biggest coward’ for shying away from fighting the number one challenger.Furthermore, after watching Fury, albeit comprehensively, win on the judges' scorecards, Whyte believes he would knock out the Gypsy King within five rounds if even given the chance to face off.

Dillian 'The Body Snatcher' Whyte is hoping to fight one more time before the year ends but only time will tell who his opponent will be.

Regardless, Whyte does know that a potential rematch against Anthony Joshua remains in the offing at Wembley next April should AJ fail to agree a deal to face the winner of Wilder vs Fury.
