Two of England's most recognisable faces in the sport of boxing squared off in a much more unconventional way than what fans may think.Whyte, the WBC Silver heavyweight title-holder since 2017, posted a video on Instagram of compatriot Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder joking around when they came face-to-face with one another in Belfast at the weekend. In the video which can be seen below, Fury, when in a stare-down with Wilder, pokes fun at the situation by playfully attempting to kiss him on the cheek, an action which even cracked a smile from the American WBC heavyweight title champion. The video has since been seen by Whyte and was reposted onto his Instagram page with the daunting caption: "Embarrassing bunch of cowards @bronzebomber @gypsyking101 let’s go chumps #clowns."Whyte proceeded to tag both Fury and Wilder but the Gypsy King certainly didn't see the funny side and brutally commented back on the post.In the comment that can be seen below, Tyson Fury completely rips into Whyte, who at this may regret posting the video at all.

Fury questions who is the real coward as he recalls Whyte's performances in recent fights against people such as Anthony Joshua, Joseph Parker, and Dereck Chisora, while also pointing out that he is not the one planning to square off against the strong presence of Deontay Wilder.

Fury's golden response was then reposted onto Twitter, a social media platform in which it generated even more fanfare for the returning boxer who has made quite the name for himself since his ill-fated exile from the sport.

There has been no response from Whyte but this may well prove to be another feud to keep an eye on.

Whyte has proven himself to be well deserving of a world title shot and of course, should Fury beat Wilder he will become a world champion again - making him an instant target for 'The Body Snatcher'.
