Paul Scholes has not been afraid to criticise Manchester United since his retirement and move into punditry. The former Red Devils midfielder is a regular on British television for BT Sport and often appears on other foreign channels. And when it comes to the subject of his old club under the leadership of Jose Mourinho, he's not one to hold back his true feelings.Scholes is not happy with the style of football and player development under the Portuguese manager and often has it in for one star man in particular; Paul Pogba. The French World Cup winner is one of the most divisive figures in the Premier League and has already made a number of headlines in 2018/19.And Scholes was heavily critical of Pogba after the 3-2 defeat against Brighton on Sunday."When you’re 3-1 down, your first thought then is, 'we’ve got to score goals, we have to score goals'. Where’s the urgency?’ Scholes said on Optus Sport."You get a ball in midfield, they’re playing the ball backwards, Paul Pogba is playing the ball out of play, he’s over-hitting passes, hitting passes short, he’s getting caught in possession. He continued by saying: "There’s lack of leaders in the team, that’s why we thought Paul Pogba might be the ideal candidate to be that leader but he wasn’t there tonight."He had another really poor game. He’s so inconsistent."Scholes was not happy and now the whole saga with Pogba has taken another twist, because his agent - Mino Raiola - has posted two very controversial tweets on the matter.

RAIOLA SPEAKS OUT

Wow, he's not held back.

While the first tweet about his leadership will likely appeal to both Ed Woodward and Mourinho, the second is a step too far.

Raiola's reputation in the footballing world isn't exactly the greatest, with former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson refusing to work with him.

This is certainly one to keep an eye on in the coming days. Will Pogba himself speak out?
