At SummerSlam last weekend, Brock Lesnar's reign as Universal Champion came to an end thanks to Roman Reigns.

The Big Dog ended The Beast's 504-day reign as Universal Champion when he pinned him in the middle of the ring in the main event of WWE's biggest party of the summer.

It was widely expected that Lesnar would lose the title on the night, as many people know that he will be training soon for his return to the Octagon in UFC to fight against Daniel Cormier.

However, Brock was advertised for another WWE appearance, as he was scheduled to be on this week's Monday Night Raw, but he did not turn up.

According to PWInsider, via Cageside Seats, despite previous advertisements saying he would be there, Lesnar didn't turn up on Raw as he flew home after SummerSlam.

In fact, the report also says that The Beast was never going to appear on Monday Night Raw even though he was advertised for the show.

It is unclear as to when exactly Lesnar will be back in the WWE, as the post-SummerSlam RAW was his last scheduled date for the company.

One person that did appear on Raw this week though was Paul Heyman, and he teased a possible future match for The Beast in WWE.

Heyman suggested to Kurt Angle that Lesnar has his rematch against Reigns for the Universal Championship next month at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, but the then-Raw general manager said no.

Given that Angle has now been sent away on a mandatory vacation by Stephanie McMahon, it will be interesting to see if The Beast advocate pays the acting general manager Baron Corbin a visit to see if he will book the match instead.

Therefore, there's a chance we could see Lesnar again on September 16 at Hell in a Cell, so long as the rematch between him and Reigns is booked by WWE over the next couple of weeks.
