Over recent years, the Women's Evolution in the WWE has gone from stride to stride to a point now where we're on the verge of having the first-ever all-women's pay-per-view in the WWE, Evolution.

WWE's women's division over the past three and a half years has gone from having 30-second matches on Monday Night Raw, to headling Raws and SmackDowns, to headling pay-per-views as well.

The women's division is now being treated on the same level as the men's with the inclusion of women's Royal Rumbles, women's Money in the Bank matches, as well as women's Hell in a Cell matches.

However, none of this would have been possible without the recruitment and growth of women's talent in the WWE, and Triple H has certainly played a big hand in that.

According to Wrestling Inc, Stephanie McMahon was a recent guest on #MaxOut with Ed Mylett to discuss the rise of the women's division. She reflected on the impact Triple H has made on the women's division thanks to his work in NXT.

She said: "It was a lot of what [Triple H] started to do at NXT, which NXT – for those of you who don't know – started off as our develpmental show, and is now really evolved into a third global touring brand in and of itself and is one of the most watched programs on the WWE Network.

"But my husband started to recruit elite athletes, men and women, and he started training the women same as the men and giving them the same opportunities, because – like anything else – repetitions is how you are gonna get better.

"So at our live events that we do, our local live events, which is where, non-televised, our talent often learn the skills.

"That's where they hone the craft, the live audience gives a reaction, and that's how you learn what's working, what's not working, and worse, what they don't care about... so he started giving them those opportunities, and them our audience responded in kind.

"Because these women were so awesome, and they started chanting, 'this is wrestling' and 'women's wrestling'."

Stephanie also explained that because of this, the 30-second match that was shown on Raw caused fans to be outraged since they knew the potential of the women via matches on NXT.

The #GiveDivasAChance hashtag was born as a result, which forced WWE overall to make women's matches more prominent on the main roster to an extent where they headlined Raw, SmackDown, and even pay-per-views.

Now, we're just a couple of weeks away from the first-ever all-women's pay-per-view in the WWE, and Triple H with his work with the women's division in NXT over the years certainly played a big part in making that happen.
