The former WWE Champion has addressed this conversation.

Chris Jericho has done it all under the sports entertainment banner. He has been under contract with the sports entertainment company off and on since 1999.

Jericho is a six-time world champion, having won the WWE Championship once, the WCW/World Championship twice, and WWE's World Heavyweight Championship three times.

He is also a record nine-time Intercontinental Champion. Jericho is the first Undisputed WWE Champion.

Thus, the final holder of the World Championship (formerly the WCW World Heavyweight Championship), having won and unified the WWE and World titles by defeating Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock on the same night in 2001.

He is also the ninth Triple Crown Champion, as well as the fourth Grand Slam Champion in WWE history.

Jericho revealed on a recent episode of his podcast what the reaction was from WWE Chairman Vince McMahon regarding the All In event.

"Speaking about Vince [McMahon], I told Vince about All In four or five months ago," Jericho revealed to Rhodes during the podcast (transcript courtesy of Wrestling Inc).

"We were just discussing it, shooting the breeze and I go, 'yeah the show is in September in Chicago.' Vince is like, 'ah I wish they would have called me. September is the worst time of the year to promote -- it's terrible!'

"I'm like, you're got old-school forty years of promoting and [he says] 'they should have called me,'" Jericho said.

The event will be available live on pay-per-view and the FITE app with the first hour airing on WGN America starting at 5:00 pm on September 1st at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
