If you talk about flair players over the last few years in football, there are a few familiar names that crop up into conversation.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic are some of the biggest players who have the most unique tricks up their sleeves.

But one man who has gone under the radar in the last few years is Ronaldo's international team-mate Ricardo Quaresma.

The winger has played for some huge clubs in his time, including Barcelona, Inter Milan, and also had a short loan spell in the Premier League for Chelsea.

But the 34-year-old now turns out for Turkish side Besiktas, and clearly still has a few skills left to show-off to the fans.

He's been an ever-present for the 2016/17 Super Lig champions in the last three seasons, proving there's still some life left in the legs of the veteran.

And a video clip shows not only Quaresma nutmegging an opponent in a Europa League game against Partizan Belgrade, but pulling off a very unnecessary 'rabona' pass to a fellow Besiktas player.

Skip to 20 seconds into this video to see the bizarre decision.

It's obviously not the first time Quaresma has pulled off the skill, there's videos of full compilations of him performing it, but to do it in that moment was pretty weird.

He came back to the forefront of people's minds when he notched a superb 'travela' goal against Iran at the 2018 World Cup, a true goal of the tournament contender.

Now his career is winding down, he will probably need to produce more individual brilliance like that to grab the headlines.

But with a new crop of talent coming through for the European champions, such as Goncalo Guedes and Gelson Martins, we may no longer be seeing the rabona master on the biggest stages.
