WWE announced this week on Monday Night Raw that Shawn Michaels will be making an appearance on the red brand next week.

This will be Michaels' first appearance on Raw since he took part in the 25th-anniversary celebration of the show back in January earlier this year.

HBK will be returning to Raw to talk about the upcoming clash between The Undertaker and Triple H at WWE Super Show-Down on October 6 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia.

However, if reports are to be believed, Shawn may not be the only big name returning to the WWE next week to promote this match.

According to PWInsider, via Wrestling Inc, The Undertaker himself will be returning at Raw next week in Colombus, Ohio.

While it isn't clear yet if The Deadman will be seen in the ring or just in a backstage segment, he is scheduled to be there, and it will be unlike WWE to not use him in some sort of way.

If WWE was to use The Undertaker, it would be his first televised appearance since he took on Rusev in a Casket Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia in April earlier this year.

The Phenom, however, has had a match with the WWE since this night, as he took part in a six-man tag team match alongside Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman vs Elias, Baron Corbin, and Kevin Owens at a live event at Madison Square Garden back in July.

If The Undertaker was to appear on next week's Raw, it would likely be to promote his upcoming match against The Game at WWE Super Show-Down later this year.

Next week's Raw and the Super Show-Down aren't the only upcoming WWE events which The Deadman could appear at, as he has been confirmed for the special 1,000th episode of SmackDown celebration on October 16 in Washington, DC.

WWE sure is picking up on the appearances of The Undertaker in their company over the next few weeks, which might lead to some speculating that this could be WWE's way of giving him a big send-off across all shows before he retires for good.
