Many WWE fans may still be recovering from SummerSlam - the second biggest PPV of the year, but Vince McMahon is apparently already looking forward 2019.
More specifically, he's already planning for WrestleMania 35. The showpiece event may still be eight months away, but the boss already has his main event in mind.
CLOSING THE SHOW
It's highly likely that a match for the Universal Championship will close WM35 - as that's what happened earlier this year in New Orleans.
Back in April, we saw Brock Lesnar successfully defend against Roman Reigns, but it's now four months later and the landscape of WWE has seriously changed.
The Beast is no longer under contract and just less than two weeks ago in Brooklyn, he lost the title to Reigns.
Now, it will come as a surprise to few, that the latest reports suggest that The Big Dog will be part of WWE's plan for WrestleMania 35.
And if things go the way they want, he'll be involved in a huge match.
STEALING THE SHOW
According to Joe Peisich, who's been speaking on Barnburner's Fired Up podcast, WWE want to pencil in The Rock vs Reigns as their show closer.
What's even more interesting though, is he suggests that the legend wouldn't just be making a one-off appearance.
"The Rock, they are negotiating possibly being at The Royal Rumble and being at WrestleMania," Peisich revealed, per Ringside News.
"From what I hear the main event of WrestleMania in New York is penciled in if they get The Rock. It will be The Rock against Roman Reigns."
A STRONG POSSIBILITY
Normally, WWE fans wouldn't be too happy about the suggestion of a legend just walking into the main event of WrestleMania - especially against Reigns.
But, The Rock is an exception - and there's potential for the pair to wrestle a match for the ages. Especially if it gets a real build, as Peisich suggests could happen.
Other reports also suggest that Johnson is close to agreeing a deal to return at SmackDown 1000 in October. If he does so, then even more speculation will build ahead of WrestleMania 35.
