Jose Mourinho labelled Marcus Rashford ‘naive’ following his red card against Burnley on Sunday.Rashford was sent off in the 71st minute for leaning his head in towards Phil Bardsley, who had provoked the 20-year-old by kicking out at him.Referee Jon Moss missed Bardsley’s kick-out but he didn’t miss Rashford’s actions, and showed a straight red card to the Man United forward.Mourinho was fully aware that Rashford had fallen for Bardsley’s bait."I would say it was naive,” the Portuguese coach told BBC Sport.“It was a kid and a very experienced man. Bardsley's been in the game for 20 years and Marcus is a naive boy."Rashford, who will miss Man United’s next three matches, took to social media to share his disappointment.

Rashford's reaction after his red

The youngster was only on the pitch for 10 minutes before his clash with Bardsley resulted in an early bath.

Eyewitnesses have revealed to the Daily Mail just how angry Rashford was following the first red card of his career.

The England international kicked the door to Man United’s dressing room in a moment of fury.

Rashford caused no damage but the concerns don’t end there.

The Mail go on to claim that there are concerns that Rashford’s outbursts came as a result of his growing frustration at Old Trafford.

He has started just one of Man United’s four Premier League matches this season and didn’t come off the bench in the 3-0 defeat to Tottenham.

With the score at 2-0 against Spurs, Mourinho decided to introduce Marouane Fellaini instead of Rashford.

Those at the club claim Rashford has been more sullen since returning from the World Cup, where he started in just one match for England.

It seems as though Rashford is realising things aren’t going to be handed to him on a plate.

He burst onto the scene in style in 2016 but things haven’t kicked on as many would have imagined.
