There's been no faction more popular in the last five years in WWE than The Shield, and when Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose got back together last October to take revenge on The Miz, fans were thrilled.
But plans had to be shelved following Ambrose's injury in December 2017, and the threesome quietly went their separate way.
But the band well-and-truly got back together the night after SummerSlam two weeks ago, with Rollins and Ambrose thwarting Braun Strowman's Money in the Bank cash-in on Reigns for his Universal title.
But the tables soon turned the following week, as Strowman aligned with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler, laying waste to all three after the 'Monster Among Men' turned on Reigns in their tag team main event.
And for the second week in a row, Monday Night Raw ended with the trio being battered, this time by pretty much every heel in the locker room, who are presumably dismayed with The Shield's reunion.
WWE.com reported that The Shield 'refused medical attention' following the savage attack, in which they took more than their fair share of bumps.
Seth Rollins didn't get off too lightly though.
Following their 'arrest' earlier in the night, The Shield returned to the arena in the police van that carted them off.
But parking it next to the Raw stage would be Rollins' downfall, as Ziggler and Elias took the opportunity to send him flying into the window of the van.
And following closer inspection, not only did part of the window shatter, it left Rollins with a nasty laceration to his arm that was quickly picked up on by concerned fans.
It can almost certainly be guaranteed that the injury wasn't planned, it in-fact is very similar to the wound Goldberg recieved when in WCW, although his was through an act of stupidity when he decided to put his forearm through a limo window.
The whole wrestling world will be hoping Rollins isn't seriously injured, as the Intercontinental Champion really has been burning it down recently.News Now - Sport News
