Since Jurgen Klopp left Borussia Dortmund in June 2015, no fewer than four managers have taken the reins at the Westfalenstadion.
Lucien Favre is the latest to be tasked with getting BVB back to the glory days they enjoyed under the now-Liverpool boss.
Klopp had to contend with many of the same struggles as Thomas Tuchel, Peter Bosz, Peter Stoger, and now Favre.
Even then, Dortmund were earning a reputation as a selling club - yet, the thing was, the German had an almost unmatched knack for finding replacements.
As he goes in search of his first trophy in English football, it's worth remembering his incredibly successful spell in the Bundesliga, winning the title in 2010/11 and following that up with the double a year later.
In 2013, Dortmund would reach the Champions League final, perhaps fittingly losing out to Bayern Munich at Wembley.
It's their 2011/12 side that has gone down in history, however, and it was quite different to their current set-up.
Here's the XI that beat Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 to clinch the title, shortly before going on to lift the DFB-Pokal trophy. Spoiler, not all of them went to Bayern.
Roman Weidenfeller
The goalkeeper recently retired but had the honour of being a squad member in Germany's 2014 World Cup winning side.
Lukasz Piszczek
The 33-year-old is still at Dortmund and has now won over 200 caps for the club.
Neven Subotic
The Serbian has had a tough few years, battling thrombosis and facing an uncertain spell when he was sent to FC Koln on loan; Bosz subsequently brought him back into the fold, but he left permanently to join AS Saint-Etienne back in January.
Mats Hummels
Signed from Bayern in 2009, the centre-back returned to Bavaria in 2016 and broke a few Dortmund hearts in the process.
Marcel Schmelzer
The left-back is still at Dortmund and was made captain for two years, before Marco Reus was given the armband in 2018.
Ilkay Gundogan
The midfielder has battled a knee injury since moving to Manchester City, though he's also won a Premier League title in the process. Along with Mesut Ozil, he had a tough summer amidst the Germany internationals' fallout from their meeting with Turkish President Erdogan.
Sebastian Kehl (c)
Kehl spent 13 years at the club, retiring in 2015. He was appointed as their players' licence department director earlier this year.
Jakub Blaszczykowski
A familiar face for anyone who has followed Poland's national side, the veteran winger had a short spell at Fiorentina and is now back in Germany with Wolfsburg.
Shinji Kagawa
The Japan star scored the second goal that day against Monchengladbach and his achievements earned him a move to Manchester United. Louis van Gaal later sold him back to Dortmund, much to the annoyance of the Dutchman's successor, Jose Mourinho.
Ivan Perisic
Since joining Inter Milan, via Wolfsburg, the Croatian winger has been sought after by a number of top European clubs but remains with the Nerazzurri for now.
Robert Lewandowski
At 30-years-old, will he ever get his big move to Real Madrid? Perhaps not, but the striker has won four more titles with Bayern.
The gulf between the current champions and the likes of Dortmund has only got wider and wider, with new money like RB Leipzig also throwing their hat into the ring in recent years.
It's going to be hard for Favre to construct another XI like this one.
